840 Gainsborough Drive is a 2025 house in the Upper Diamond neighborhood of Laguna Beach, built of steel and reinforced concrete with 12-inch exterior concrete walls. Pocket doors spanning 32 and 22 feet open the west side to terraces and about 52 feet of ocean views. A custom steel stair climbs the hillside to the highest point of the site. Inside: limestone and white oak floors, Italian marble and Cleaf cabinetry.

The film is built around an on-camera interview with the architect.
